Rebound

Well, for the second time around, I am back in Nawlins' (New Orleans) for Spring Break. Fortunately, I was able to stay at the same church where my mother and I stayed last year. Last night, after I packed my bags I was so excited about this trip that I couldn't sleep. I got to Milynda's house a little after 5 am and we were on the road by 6:00. It's a tradition for me and my family to honk the horn after crossing over each state line, Milynda didn't get but I kept on honking the horn. The trip was long but the conversation was good. Once we got into Mississippi, I had to go to my favorite restaurant, Barnhill, in Moss Point. They have the best peach muffins ever! We crossed over many bridges prior to getting to New Orleans, it was amazing to see how some things still haven't changed even when I last visited in December.

Well, I am getting tired now. We have to be at a church in downtown New Orleans by 8:30 for a training before we start gutting out houses and I need some rest.
