Houston...we have landed!

Well, this weekend I have been in Houston and I've had a good time.  I visited the University of Houston in order to evaluate their doctoral program.  After meeting with the professors and touring the campus, I was impressed.  I think that their Instructional Technology program has a great deal of opportunities for me to expand, research and allow me to apply my skills in the community.  I'm not going to get my hopes up but U of H is top on my list.
Outside of the school, I had a good time touring.  Yesterday I went to a wonderful Mexican restaurant called Molinda's.  With my limited amount of time I was trying to figure out what I could do to check out more of the city.  I got lost a whole lot so I saw more of Houston than I ever thought I would.  The people drive crazy here...it's insane.  Nevertheless, I found a great spot at the Downtown Aquarium.  I took lots of pictures, went a "Shark Voyage" train ride and tried to tap on the outside window of the white tigers cage but both of the tigers were knocked out.
Overall, I have had a great time here in Houston.  I'm going to be open to the Lord as to whether or not this is the best place for me.

Peace!
