I Won't Be Hassled...
Today, I watched the morning news and the newscasters were broadcasting from the local mall. One broadcaster commented on the post holiday shoppers trying to find that special deal. Maybe guilty parents and grandparents can find a Dora the Explorer doll or even the Sponge Bob doll that they were not able to find before Christmas. It seems to be that after Christmas, people get caught up in the hassle of buying and returning just for the sake of saying that they had something to do. As for me I am going to browse the magazines at Barnes and Noble or maybe I will stop by KFC and get a two piece (white meat) snack and an ice cold Pepsi. See that's good stress free living. After that I will see if I can meet up with my sisters and hang out with my mother, my nieces and my nephew. There is no need to get caught up in the hassle of fighting through traffic at Target or Walmart and then have to arm wrestle an old lady in the department store for the best deal on the 50% off rack. Life is too short...Enjoy the moment.
