The Finale

Well the day has come and gone and I am exhausted after spending over 5 hours trying to get through the metro. Although it was tiring, my feet were in serious pain, it was worth it. Standing at the Capitol and seeing people from every racial background and religious group, all coming together in unity. It was a sea of people but we had a good spot in the ticketed blue area. Good people. We met a couple from Chapel Hill, a sister from Chicago and a Sikh couple from San Francisco. They were pretty cool. I took more video this time around and I got a kick out of the "Goodnight Bush" book that a guy made, which was a remake of "Goodnight Good Moon".

When Obama and our first lady, Michelle, came to the platform, the crowd went wild. When they panned the National Mall, we at the Capitol had no clue how many people were there. We were in awe. All in all, this was an amazing experience Priceless.
