Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Is it just me but aren't you surprised that there are no heirs to Dr. King's Legacy? To be honest with you, I didn't notice it until Coretta Scott King's funeral last January. I found myself looking in the processional as the family gathered in the packed New Birth Cathedral in Georgia and I said to myself, "where are the grandchildren?" A light bulb hit me when I saw that there were none. It seems as if that same light bulb went off to my friends too especially as we honored Dr. King yesterday on his 78th birthday. It seems like a tremendous failure not to have an heir to an amazing legacy.
